The Faroe Islands is a little-known small autonomous region and group of islands in the north part of the Atlantic Ocean. The archipelago includes 18 volcanic islands, so first of all visit the main island Streymoy with the capital of the country. Come to see the unique island Michines, where just 10 persons live. Michines is also, called the island of the birds and full of incredible picturesque landscapes. Visit the Vagar Island to see the hanging lake Sorvagsvatn, which is exactly near the Atlantic Ocean and the Mulafossur Waterfall. At the miniscule Tingane island visit the old city Torskhvan. Faroe is well-known by being folk festivals, so don’t forget to visit it.
